Cannoli is a puppy mill survivor who spent her life producing litters, without much care for her own well-being. Now that those days are behind her, she is finally getting to enjoy being a silly, mischievous young girl! To say Cannoli loves humans is a bit of an understatement. She wants to be in your lap or getting hugs as much as possible, and has no fear at all of new people. She often forgets she's about 70lbs when she leans against her new friends or plops down in their lap. Cannoli is also a bit of a bowling ball, when it comes to getting stuff that she wants. So, we'd recommend older kids for her, who she can't accidentally knock over or squish with her enthusiasm and love. Cannoli definitely likes to play with toys and chew tasty things. She's got a bit of a mischievous side too, and will stash shoes and other things belonging to foster mom, that she thinks should be Cannoli's.
Cannoli is living with a few bulldogs in her foster home, and generally ignores them. She has a typical bulldog style greeting, and will shove her blockhead right into another dog's business to say 'hello,' so any dog she's paired with should be ok with this. Cannoli has a lot of wrinkles and folds, and her ears were a mess when she first arrived at ABR. Her forever family should be prepared to provide for her bulldog needs, longterm, including allergen appropriate food, regular ear and fold cleanings, foot soaks, and medicated baths. Luckily, Cannoli is just fine with any sort of handling or grooming. Cannoli is definitely not cat-friendly, so we will not be placing her in a home with cats.
