Cali

Cali has been with me since she was almost one. When I got her she had been heavily abused and was terrified of EVERYTHING. With lots of love and patience she warmed up but the abuse never left her. If she thinks I’m upset with her she will tinkle. So I always try to use a sweet voice when communicating with her. She is afraid of black men. She will start shaking and literally run the other way. I have a boy dog named Henry that has been in our lives since he was 3 months. Cali would growl at him asserting her dominance and Henry would just be like whatever. Up until recently. Last year they got into multiple fights but I have always been able to stop it before it got bad. This last fight put Cali in the hospital. She had to have drainage tubes, multiple stitches and she lost two of her teeth. Cali is a sweet sweet girl but needs a little help.
