Cali needs a loving, attentive owner as she was formerly a puppy mill mom. Unfortunately given my recent diagnosis, I am unable to attend to her needs as mine are needing acute attention. We believe she is 6 years old. She shows signs of resource guarding; meaning she doesn't like sharing toys because she associates them as her former puppies. Therefore, she will show signs of aggression if other dogs play with her (or their) toys. She plays lovely with people; often prancing around with a toy in her mouth so you will be proud of her. Without toys, she is loving & nurturing around other dogs. Given her age, she can't see very well, and gets nervous during the night if she can't see you. We crate her near our bed and that seems to do the trick (but her snoring will require some getting used to). She is up to date on all vaccines, we've treated her ears, gave her allergy shots, teeth cleanings, and wipe her wrinkles regularly. She takes to all of these treatments extremely well.
