Butterscotch has the most beautiful coloring with the best wrinkles! She is so good natured and gentle with all creatures, but loves to play with toys as well. Her shelter adovocate reached out to us when folks in their small town thought she was too ugly to adopt. But we agreed with her -- she's gorgeous and perfect exactly how she is! She was picked up by her advocate at an abandoned house she was dumped at to "guard" when she could no longer produce puppies for her former breeder. But Butterscotch, with her super wiggly nub tail and big smile, is not very good at guarding anything, since all she wants to do is show her belly to anyone she meets. B is wonderful with kids of all ages, dogs, and cats too. She has tried to play with her furmates, but unfortunately they do not play. Maybe you have a furry friend that is looking for a lazy playmate.
Butterscotch's bloodwork is showing early signs of Addison's Disease, so we would like her future family to be educated on what this could mean, in terms of future care and expenses. As of right now, her vet recommends blood tests every 6mo to keep an eye on things. Depending on if/how fast she progresses, she may need vet care more often.
