*Bunny has a condition known as Spina Bifida and will always require special care and a diapering system. Before applying for Bunny please read about her condition to see if your home is the right fit for her needs. https://www.caninespinabifidawarrior.com/education.html *
Bunny was given her name for the unique way she bounces around, due to the shape of her back legs, and her sweet little pink face! She's got the most adorable underbite smile, that leaves her tounge constantly peeking out of her mouth, and her gorgeous fawn and white fur is so, so soft. Bunny LOVES hugs and snuggling in close with her favorite humans. She's also very, very dog friendly and actually seems to feel more confident with other dogs friends in her home. She is honestly one of the happiest, most joyful dogs we've ever met who has no idea she's different.
Bunny was born with Spina Bifida, and she will be incontinent for the rest of her life. She wears diapers and suspenders and is a total champ about grooming time! And although she walks a little funny, she can still do zoomies around the backyard and bounce on and off the couch (her favorite thing!). She's not in any pain, and isn't any different than her doggy foster siblings, as far as Bunny is concerned. We don't expect her forever family to have experience caring for a dog with Spina Bifida, and her adoption will come with plenty of info and support on how to keep her happy and healthy. You'll also be able to talk to our adoption team and her foster mom about her specific needs to make sure she's a good fit for your family.
