Brutus is a typical bulldog. He loves to eat, sleep, and to be loved on! He loves our kids and is always happy when they are around. However, Brutus had a rough start to his life. The family that originally got him, was unaware of all that a bulldog required and tied him to a tree. He was malnutrous and angry at the world. An amazing family rescued him, fattened him up and got him well! We have had him since April 2021, he really is a love. But he is very irrie of change. He walks around guarded and grouchy, but is easily motivated by treats. He is not food aggressive, but will eat everything. However, Brutus' first thought is people and other dogs are bad. He is focal about his disapproval, but it is to be understood with the life he has lived! Once you learn how to motivate him, he is your friend forever. He would do best in a home with less change and as an only dog. He gets along with other dog visitors, but needs to be the leader of the pack at home. Although Brutus can be a handful at time, his sweet face and need for a human to understand him makes him a great addition. He is full bred, comes with his papers, and neutered.
