My grandpa always wanted a bulldog. They purchased him from an individual when he was a puppy about 10 years ago. My grandpa passed in 2014 so he’s been keeping my grandma company ever since. My grandmother recently broke her 2nd hip and will not be able to return home. She cannot afford to leave him in boarding indefinitely and doesn’t want that for him either. Unfortunately, I cannot take him in and we don’t have any family that is willing or able. My grandmother is heartbroken. I think a part of her feels like she is letting my grandpa down (they were married for nearly 61 years). She truly wants him to have a good home and enjoy the rest of his life. He is such a sweet pup. While my grandmother is the owner, I’m her power of attorney. She has asked for me to find him a home. Your organization seems perfect. I feel confident he’d be in good hands and that would offer my grandmother peace with the situation.
