Everyone who meets Bruno gets "that" feeling about him: this is a special boy. He's so incredibly gentle and sweet -- you would never guess he is 80lbs, until he tries to sit in your lap! Bruno is also a very sensitive and loving boy who is happiest near his people or dog friends. He is currently living with another dog and loves to spend his days napping with her and playing. And Bruno has met little dogs, too, and tries to make himself real tiny to play down on their level - it's the funniest thing to watch! Bruno is currently living with a young human foster sibling, and from day 1 has been very intuitive about her being smaller than the rest of the household. The only reason his foster recommends older kids is the fact that he tries to sit in her lap and most definitely does not fit. He's just a big, mushy love sponge who doesn't know his own size! Bruno is also perfectly housetrained, non-destructive, quiet, and crate trained. He's also very easy to walk on a leash and very calm.
Bruno came to ABR after being left behind at a shelter. His former owners did tell volunteers that he had entropian surgery that was most definitely not done correctly. ABR is sponsoring a corrective surgery for him to address some of the issues caused by this + him not receiving proper after care. Bruno will always need eye drops and bully breed allergy care to ensure his eyes don't irritate him.
