Brûlée

Brûlée is one of the squishiest girls we've ever met!  We just love all of her face wrinkles, folds, and especially when she shows off her mushy belly.  This girl always seems to have a smile on her face and is happiest around people she loves (which is all people).  Even when Bru stays with an ABR sitter, she seems to settle in right away knowing these are just more friendly humans to give her plenty of love.  Brûlée is currently living with another dog, and has in the past.  She's actually moved around quite a bit in life, so she can feel a little insecure about sharing her humans with another dog, at first.  So, we'd recommend slow integration with your dog(s) and doing things like going on walks together, and her own decompression space for a little.  And once she does feel safe with your dog, we think she'd really enjoy some play time together!  So, we hope any other dog in her home is comfortable sharing their toys, as well as their couch time and humans, with Bru.

Brûlée is currently living with kids and loves that this means more humans in the house to love on her.  She also really enjoys meeting new people on her (very short, and very slow) walks around the block.  And speaking of low and slow walks, Brûlée is super duper stumpy, so we don't think home with stairs is right for her.  Bru also gets very nervous on car rides, especially getting in and out of the car.  And she isn't a big fan of going to the vet (and combined with the fact that a car brings her to the vet...no thanks!).  We would prefer she go to a forever family who isn't going to subject her to a lot of long roadtrips and wants to create a plan to help her feel less anxious when she does need to ride in the car.
