And, even though he is perfection, someone abandoned him, and his AMAZING savior who found him and brought him to our attention couldn't t keep him because, even though perfect, his necessary medical care was just beyond what they were comfortable with.
So, while Brisket IS perfection, his furever family MUST be prepared to manage a real-life bulldog with all their vet and grooming needs.
So, he will need, at minimum, an annual complete check-up with a full-service vet (low-cost options are inappropriate for bulldog care), his full spectrum of shots, and MONTHLY flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
He will need his gorgeous folds and velvet ears wiped at least daily, his exotic brindled coat bathed with medicated shampoo at least weekly, and daily eye drops.
Also, it is important to note that Brisket is ALL bulldog, and he will go and be where he wants to.
Especially since he is a pretty little guy, he DOES NOT appreciate being forced to move from a spot or git' somewhere he's not ready to git' to. His humans must understand his pace and be prepared to lure him with yummy treats if necessary :). This bulldog is gonna bulldog :).
