Birdie

Birdie is a lap dog! At least, as much as a 45 pound Olde English bully can be. Whoever is lucky enough to be this girl’s forever family should be ready for lots of cuddles and affection and slobbery bulldog kisses. Friendly and loyal to her people, she also loves making new friends. Strangers? Not for long. She’ll head straight for your lap. She’s quite well behaved - she likes to ‘suckle’ on blankets and pillows, but isn’t destructive. She even prefers a pile of blankets to her toys. Birdie can be left alone during the day, perfectly happy to chill out on the couch. This is a pup who does not need a big yard or hours of exercise. Birdie would be perfectly happy living in an apartment. Work outside the home? No problem! Birdie will be fine by herself and ready to greet you when you get back. Her other likes include walks (she does well on a leash) and taking baths. She dislikes crates. As a previous breeder mama, she’s spent too much time in one in her pre-ABR life. Birdie would prefer to be an only dog. Overall, she is a low maintenance girl, who just wants a family to snuggle with.
