Billie will always be a sweet and loving puppy, at heart, no matter how big she gets. She is the sort of dog who immediately trusts every person she meets and always believes they want the best for her. She loves to play and finds fun and joy in even the smallest things. Billie is 70-80lbs, but as far as she's concerned, she's still a little 10lb puppy! She totally thinks she's a lap dog who can fit in even the smallest cozy looking beds. And she's always ready to play with her dog friends, although, sometimes she doesn't realize when they aren't the same size as she is. We'd love for her to have another friendly, playful dog in her home who isn't intimidated by her size and also enjoys bulldog style play. But if she is your one and only and makes dog friends when out and about or eventually gets a sibling, she'd love that too! As long as you're happy, Billie is happy! Billie does seem to prefer male dogs, after living in a home where she had repeated negative experiences with another female. This could adjust, over time, especially as you earn her trust. But we'd recommend male dogs only in her home, to start off.
Billie did not have the opportunity when she was young to learn some important polite behavior like calm leash walking and patiently waiting for her pretty white face to be cleaned. Her fosters are working diligently on both of these things, and we'd love for her forever family to continue to do the same. Billie isn't currently living with kids, but we think 10+ is best, since she could easily knock a little one over with her wiggle butt, whip tail, and happy kisses.
