Bernard

Bernard is a dream dog.  His shelter advocates raved about how much they adored his gentle, serene nature and easygoing personality.  And after we've had a chance to get to know him, we can confirm he's even better than they described!  Bernard easily settled into his foster home and was immediately loving, affectionate, and a perfect gentleman.  He was also very patient with giving his tiny, senior fur foster brother plenty of space while he got used to Bernard.  We're told that little man likes to mostly keep to himself, but Bernard has won him over!  There's just something about his nature that makes you feel happy and at ease.  Bernard enjoys going for walks with his foster family and has amazing leash manners!  He's also potty trained and non-destructive when left home alone.  Bernard is not currently living with kids, but his funny little nub tail wiggles like crazy whenever he gets to make a new human friend of any size.  We think he'd be thrilled to have more family around to love on him, if he did end up in a home with children.
