Beatrix is the perfect combination of easygoing and hilarious bulldog personality. If we didn't know better, we would never guess she is 9yo! Bea has so much life and joy left in her! And we actually are sure of her age because poor Beatrix's former owner wasn't interested in bringing her back home after she was picked up by a tiny shelter. Luckily, Bea has adapted well to her foster home, recognizing immediately that these are kind people with tasty snacks and a cozy couch to snuggle up on -- all of her favorite things!
Beatrix would be content spending her days moseying between sunny spots in the house to nap and getting some tummy rubs on the couch in the evening. She does great at the vet, in car rides, and with grooming/baths as well. She's currently living with a likeminded dog (calm and friendly) and they get along swimmingly. We think this is the best sort of dog match for her and woudln't recommend a home with a rowdy or high energy dog friend. Beatrix has not been tested with cats, but we can provide some guidance to potential families with cats to help everyone feel comfortable with the integration. Beatrix is also not living with kids, but we think teenage and older would be best. Our girl loves the chill vibes, so we think older kids would be perfect, in terms of everyone in the house being respectful ot this.
