Austin

Three year old Austin joined rescue due to some difficult family circumstances, in which she could no longer be cared for. Now that she’s in her foster home, she is getting used to feeling more secure. She loves her (human!) toddler sibling, and adores her foster family. Austin has adjusted really well to her new life. Austin walks well on a leash, does nicely in a crate, loves romping around in the backyard, but is also a perfect little couch potato. She needs some treats and gentleness with new adults, but once you’ve shown her you are her friend she will melt your heart with her sweetness. Austin’s ideal family would be a low traffic calm home with a family that isn’t gone too many hours. She has endless potential to mold into a happy member of a compassionate, dog loving family.
