When people see you walking with Atlas, they will gasp and say 'ohh myyyyy....' because he is so strikingly handsome. And he will definitley soak up all the attention by offereing a wiggly tail nub and smushy belly that always seems to need some scratches! Atlas used to live outdoors, before coming to ABR, and it took him a minute to adjust to the good life. He's now mastered potty training and thoroughly enjoys all the cozy spaces he can nap. He's also starting to really enjoy playing with his fur foster brother! In fact, one of the things we love about Atlas is that if foster brother let's him know he needs a break, Atlas is great about picking up his cues and backing off. Besides playing bulldog bumper cars, Atlas loves tug and all the fun new toys he gets to play with in his foster home.
Atlas sometimes forgets how big he is, so even though he LOVES all new people, we'd recommend kids who he can't knock over in his forever home, if any. And it did take him a minute to learn to trust his doggy foster brother, so we hope his forever family would be willing to slowly build up to playtime so that he feels safe and comfortable.
