Ash

Hi! My Name Is Ash

We're happy to tell you that Ash has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Ash is available to qualified and approved adopters in the state of Texas, only.  Please be able to provide personal and vet references on your application.

Ash is such a happy little guy, despite all odds.  He LOVES every person he meets and is always eager to make new dog friends.  He is so tolerant of grooming and bulldog care and definitely doesn't mind being picked up and snuggled.  Ash also loves all sorts of toys and may even think about bringing the ball back when you play fetch.  He's also super calm walking on the leash, so calm, in fact, that he just might decide he's done with his walk and stop for a snooze.  And he is totally crate trained.  What's not to love?

Ash is an exotic microbully, which isn't a real breed.  He was bred to be someone's trophy with no regard to how he would manage to walk, breathe, or function on his own.  Because of this, he will need a family who will take proper care of his joints, ensure his weight is well managed, and take extra care to not put him in situations where he could overheat.  While he has had soft palate surgery while at ABR, his body type and shape still put him at major risk for hot weather or overexertion causing problems for him.  Because of this, Ash needs to go to a home without stairs or young kids to ensure he stays comfortable and happy.  He is very friendly with other dogs out and about but in the hoe prefers to be the center of attention fur-kiddo.  Ash needs a family who understands how special and wonderful he is and wants to care for him forever, no matter what he needs.  His ideal home would have a yard and have very limited outside time if and when the weather is anything over 70 degrees, a stroller for walks is best. Like all of our dogs, Ash is to be an indoor only dog.
