Ramone LOVES people. Anyone new he meets is already his best friend. While wandering as a stray in Houston, it's no surprise that Ramone sauntered up to his finder's home immdiately, once he saw a few friendly faces standing outside. He's beginning to learn basic commands, so we hope his forever home will continue to reinforce those basics. Ramone loves to cuddle his humans and has to be touching at least one of them when its snuggle time on the couch. He's not sure about sharing that special time with other dogs, so we think he would do best in a home with other dogs who don't mind sharing their humans. But regardless, his forever family should keep using positive reinforcement to help Ramone understand that he'll never have to be alone again and another dog snuggling up to his people doesn't mean they're leaving him. He's a very sensitive soul. Ramone still has some lingering puppy behaviors that he's working on, so we think he would do best in a home with older kids, if any, for now. Luckily, he's very smart and motivated by praise and pets, so if his forever family is willing to be consistent with training, he should pick things up pretty quickly.
