Francine is a puppymill survivor who has still found the courage in her tiny heart to forgive humans, despite having been through the worst. She came to ABR after being dumped on the streets, starving, having had many litters, and unable to walk. She had both an urgent spay and spinal surgery soon after her arrival, and luckily, we were able to save her life and restore her mobility! Now Francine is all sorts of bouncy playful energy. Like all Frenchie's, she is at risk for potential IVDD (especially given what she's been through), so we would like her forever family to do their research and be prepared for this to potentially happen. But right now, she is having a blast going on daily walks to patrol the neighborhood, trying to get the cats to play, and chasing after her favorite squeakies. Francine would love another playful dog in her home to wrestle with, too. One her size or just a little bigger would be perfect! We'd also prefer Francine go to a home without young kids or stairs, given the nature of her original medical issues.
