Okay, then: Elodie Grace is not a miracle.
She is the result of a broken system sustained by disgusting humans.
Like so many dogs, Elodie was used to pump out litter after litter of gorgeous, cute, squashy, expensive bulldog puppies, and once she was too broken to 'produce,' she was thrown away.
Her survival is not a miracle.
She is here today and alive because of the tireless work of humans who want to fix our broken system, but who only have the power to pick up the pieces and clean up after the garbage that feeds the machine.
Elodie Grace matters, and we are committed to proving to her that humans can be kind and good and that her life can be full of warmth, comfort, delicious things, and endless scritches.
Elodie is not ready to move yet.
She needs to heal and needs to learn to dog.
She is taking donations, and as we get to know her better, we will have a better understanding of the family that SHE NEEDS to be able to live her best life.
