Sometimes our dogs ending up with us is not a tragedy or a sob story. Sometimes it's an act of selfless kindness that brings them to us.
Sometimes, the care of a bulldog IS just TOO MUCH.
So, maybe, 'meeting' our wise little man might make a few folks think twice before they rush out to buy a bulldog...
Socrates was long ago dumped and discarded, but was saved by a lovely family who cared for him and called him their own for many years.
Fast forward to now, and they were just unable to keep up with his French Bulldog needs, so here he is! Ready to start his next phase of life!
His rescuing family has this to say about him:
"Socrates is the sweetest dog I’ve ever been around.
He’s a gentle soul, incredibly loving, and gets along with everyone he meets.
He’s just as happy being a couch potato snuggling next to you as he is playing with his toys or exploring outside.
He loves going on walks, sniffing everything in sight, and sunbathing.
One of his favorite things in the world is car rides. He’s a great travel buddy!
He’s quiet and calm, and only barks when he gets really excited during play.
He’s curious, joyful, and has so much personality.

We know Socrates has a perfect family waiting for him.
They will have to be willing to manage his allergies and diet and to provide all of the care that he needs and deserves.
