**Teachable Moment: PLEASE READ**
Rare-colored bulldogs (Blue, Lilac, and Merle—Flynn is Blue-Merle) are so uncommon that they do not occur in the wild. Add to that the fact that Bulldogs generally cannot survive without human intervention, resulting in a situation where we have created a group of genetically engineered animals resembling Frankenstein's monsters.
To understand how breeders create these valuable, rare-colored dogs, you may need to revisit your genetics textbook from that time you thought you wanted to be pre-med (but we digress).
Ultimately, the recessive traits that Mother Nature attempts to suppress and eliminate from the genetic pool (for the health and survival of the bulldog breed) are actually encouraged by unscrupulous Greeders.
They selectively breed dogs with these traits, so they are actively choosing to breed dogs with weak genetic lines, aka dogs WITH KNOWN medical issues.

The punchline?
Flynn IS a GORGEOUS semi-long-haired blue-merle French bulldog puppy.
He is all things puppy that we LOVE: friendly, squashy, and silly.
And someone made him this way, AND they chose to dump him because even as a puppy, they knew they could not sell him in his state!
Flynn will need a family dedicated to his ongoing maintenance and care.
He will always need his skin cared for with regular medicated baths and daily wipes and will most likely need allergy medications and a carefully monitored diet.
We would love for his furever family to already have success with bulldog care.
Flynn is NOT the dog for anyone mistakenly thinking that they want an 'easy' dog with no health problems (this does not exist, just FYI).
His furever family must have at least one more friendly dog, be well-versed in early-puppy education, AND be willing to bring Flynn to one of our approved R+ trainers for puppy school.
