I rescued a bulldog off of Nextdoor and she needs the experts! I picked her up with the intention to foster and rehome her, but she needs to be fixed, lose some weight, and get checked over by a vet that specializes in bulldogs. She also has papers.
Her name is Abby, she was used as a breeding machine, but due to the owners not being able to care for her and needing $$ they were selling her on Nextdoor with reproductive organs and all.
She is an alpha female, but good with cats. She will try and exert her dominance off the bat with other dogs, but when I put her on her back when she tries to get aggressive, she backs off immediately.
I also foster through breed specific rescues, so I know that for most breeds, going through a rescue is what’s best.
