Bloom has known the worst of humans and been treated horribly in a past life. And even so, she still loves big and adores any human who is kind to her. She loves to nuzzle up to anyone who seems kind with a cautious wiggle and lean in for comfort. She'll look up at you with her big brown eyes and funny little teeth sticking out and you won't be able to leave her side. You live in that spot now, with Bloom. Forever.
But Bloom can still be nervous in new situations and does take time to feel confident. We don't think her world was expanded much beyond the walls of a small cage, prior to coming to ABR. So while being kind to her can quickly earn her trust, Bloom's forever family should be patient with her during the first few days in their home and anytime they take her to new places or allow her to meet new people. She's currently living with a frenchie foster sibling, and once she felt comfortable, she was happily napping with her and zooming around the backyard playing. She's even grabbed a toy to try, after seeing her foster sister liked it! Bloom is not currently living with kids, but we think older are best so that they understand how to be calm and approach her, if she is feeling nervous.
