Monroe has been through some serious medical issues, but his gentle and happy spirit have never waivered throughout. Even when feeling his worst, Monroe was always eager to skip into the vet, eager to see any nice humans or animals that may come his way. (He's the kind of dog that gives kisses to the vet techs when they're vaccinating him) Seriously, this dog is amazing, guys.
Monroe is 8yo but he's SUCH a puppy at heart! He is always ready to greet new dog friends with a play bow and loves to show off all of his squeaky toys. And he does the funniest little hoppy dance when it's time to go in the car or on a walk. He's currently living with a cat, too, and doesn't mind their company at all. Monroe is also perfectly housetrained, would never touch something in your home that doesn't belong to him, and is super content with napping the day away at your feet, if that's what you'd prefer. Did we not tell you this dog is amazing? But wait, there's more! Monroe deals with bulldog allergies, common to the breed. But luckily, he totally doesn't mind baths and wrinkle cleaning. And he's also cool with wearing socks when it's just way too tempting to nibble a bunch on his itchy toes.
Monroe is not currently living with kids, but we think he'd be best with kids 8+. And he'd love to be a part of a family that has lots going on in their home and/or will take him out and about with them during bulldog-safe weather.
