Sir Mac

Sir Mac has SUCH a funny bulldog personality!  One minute, he'll be nibbling on something to play and suddenly, he'll have the urge to nap, roll onto his back, and begin to snore.  He's an athlete in his mind and believes he can move at a cheetah's speed when he hears his dinner being made.  And speaking of dinner, this guy is VERY food motivated.  Sir Mac is so food motivated, that his foster has been working diligently on teaching him that staying calm = getting more snacks.  So, while he is working to perfect this, we think older kids are best for him so they can also help him with this.  But mostly, Sir Mac is happy to nap the day away and snuggle up to his fosters.

Sir Mac was pretty stressed when he first arrived at a foster home with other dogs, especially whenever he thought the other pets were getting food that he wasn't.  (and honestly, we would be too, buddy)   In a past life, he shared a home with an indoor pig who we think was not very polite when it came to respecting Sir Mac's space, especially at mealtime.  It took a few weeks for him to feel secure around his dog foster siblings and understand that he would also be getting fed, if he was calm and patient.  And once he did, he was all about playing with them, kissing their faces, and napping together.  Sir Mac is currently living in a foster home without other pets, but we think he could do well with another dog, if his forever family is willing to give him time and be patient.
