Ketchup is a cuddler. No, that's an understatement. Ketchup always wants to be the little spoon even if there is an unreasonably tiny space for him to wedge his hippo body in to in order to be close to you. This guy LOVES love. He's had a lot of ABR aunties and uncles going to meet him since he arrived, and everyone gets smothered with kisses. And while his sweetness is our favorite thing about him, we also love watching his stumpy legs chase after a squeaky toy when he's playing fetch. There's no reasonable explanation as to how he moves that barrel-y hippo body so fast, it's a sight to behold! Ketchup landed himself a foster home with another friendly dog and is THRIVING! He loves napping with his fur foster brother and especially enjoys sharing toys and stuff to chew on. We'd love for him to end up in a forever home with a similar dogs who doesn't mind a bully, rough and tumble play style or sharing their stuff. Ketchup is a pretty young guy still, and we've learned that he hasn't had a chance to learn some important manners that are usually taught as a puppy. So, while we have him designated as not liking kids, this simply means he would do best in an adults only home while he works on these things with our trainer Dog Possible (he's not afraid of kids). And this all is wonderful for his forever family, since his adoption comes with a training plan laid out specifically for Ketchup so you can pickup where his foster left off, if need be!
