To really understand Wallace, you gotta understand where he came from. This young boy spent all four years of his life with the same person. And when that person became too ill to care for him, he was kept in a crate most of the day with a relative who was trying their best, but only had time to provide minimal care for him. This was really hard for such loving, people oriented boy who really just wanted to be snuggled and scratched. Fast forward to today, Wallace is thicc and squishy again and his fur is growing back nicely! Don't let this resting bully face full you, he's a total lovebug who LOVES people and enjoys moseying around the house all day, curiously watching what foster mom is up to. In fact, he spends most of his day napping in the same room as his human, waiting for some butt scratches.
Because of what he's been through, Wallace no longer wants to share his favorite people and his home with another dog. He wants all the attention for himself, and that's ok! Gotta make up for lost time! Wallace doesn't mind if a cat is around, and he generally will ignore them. And he can absolutely see dogs when out and about or on a walk, he just wants his home to be his own sanctuary (same, buddy).
