You will not believe how speedy Donut is on those stumpy legs of his! This dude LOVES to play fetch -- squeaky toys, balls..if you're throwing it, he's all about it! One of our favorite things about Donut is how immediately loving and snuggly he is. He will not hesitate to climb in anyone's lap and give them a big kiss or sit at your feet politely waiting for butt rubs. He's also awesome on long car rides and road trips and a perfect angel walking on a leash. And speaking of which, Donut is a little (ahem) fluffy right now, and could stand to drop some lbs to ease any potential stress on his joints. We think he is about 5yo, so maintaining a healthy weight as he gets older is super important. Donut isn't living with kids right now, but we think he'd be great with little ones! He's so friendly and gentle and would love to have the extra attention that comes with more humans in a family. ABR pulled Donut from a shelter, after he was found stray with a large, young boxer mix. Both of them came from the same houehold and enjoyed playing together. In his foster home, he gets along well with their smaller Frenchie, but seems to be fearful of their very large dog. So, a meet and greet with potential adopters' dog(s) and slow introductions would be recommended.
