Rex

Rex loves his humans with every fiber of his being, from the tip of his long weird tail all the way to his pillowy jowls.  Any time someone sees Rex out and about, their first question is 'what IS he?!' and truly, we don't know!  But we sure do love his odd mix of stumpy legs, bulldog smush and wrinkles, and itty bitty airplane ears.  Rex is SO loving and will happily shower you with kisses when he first meets you.  He always wants hugs, scratches, and affection from his human friends.  Rex also loves toys and loves to nibble on them with his slobbery jowls.  He's currently living with another doggy friend and likes to lazily play with her.  He's not going to run laps with a dog friend around the back yard, but he does enjoy the company of others.  

It's clear that Rex was not treated kindly by a male figure in a previous life.  He sometimes can be anxious around men, especially if they are getting too close to the women he loves.  We want his forever family to be understanding of his trauma, and work to help him associate good feelings and treats to men (cut up hotdogs are the secret!).
