Twyla is the silliest little ball of sunshine! She came wiggling into her foster family's home on the very first day like a big, smiley bowling ball, thrilled with all the new friends she would have! Twyla was taken in by her savior as a young puppy, and was nursed back to health. They reached out to ABR to help with some bulldog-specific medical stuff (a wicked cherry eye) and find her the perfect forever home! The work her savior did plus all of the wonderful experiences in her foster home have helped sweet Twyla become the most joyful, social girl.
Twyla LOVES playing with other dogs. We would love for her to have a playmate in her forever home, especially one who doesn't mind sharing toys and may play tug with her every once and awhile. She's doing a great job picking up on house manners, but will still need some help learning not to nibble on her human friends when she has big feelings or wants attention. Twyla's forever family should continue to remind her that she has plenty of toys and snacks for munching and use positive reinforcement to praise when she uses calm behavior to get what she wants. While she is learning this skill, we think kids 8+ would be best.
