Lady πŸš—

Hi! My Name Is Lady πŸš—

We're happy to tell you that Lady πŸš— has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Lady hasn't stopped smiling and wiggling since she arrived at her ABR foster home!Β  Every single person who meets her falls madly in love with her friendly nature and sweet self.Β  She came from a home where she lived outdoors, was not cared for in the least bit.Β  But it seems that indoor life, cozy napping spots, and fun toys really suit her!Β  Every little creature comfort is brand new and exciting to her!Β  Lady loves kids, but really, would be happy in any sort of family who is willing to give her love and attention.Β  Dress her up, give her a bath, hold her like a baby-- Lady is just pleased to be included!Β  Lady was a stray for about a month, and we think she had a litter of puppies during this time that she had to protect.Β  Because of this, she is fearful of other dogs in her space and would prefer to be your one and only.Β  She may be able to feel comfortable with a smaller, calm, female dog, but right now, she is still decompressing.Β Β

Lady is available for adoption to qualified adopters in the contiguous 48 states.Β  ABR would prefer approved applicants to come to TX to meet their match, with their family and dog(s), but we recognized this isn’t always possible.Β  In such cases, approved adopters should be willing to participate in video interviews with the entire family to meet their match virtually. Adopters must also provide a transportation plan for their new family member that will require approval from the ABR Board.Β  Β This needs to be paid for by the adopter, in addition to the dog’s adoption fee.Β  Adopters need to also be prepared arrange safe transport back to the Austin area, should adoption not work out.Β  Please be prepared to provide vet and personal references in your application for us to contact when considering your family.
