Rigby is the happiest, most joyful boy we've ever had at ABR! Nothing gets this boy down, and we just love seeing his happy smile, no matter what the circumstances. Rigby LOVES playing with balls. Anything round is a ball to Rigby, and if it rolls, he's gonna get it! He is currently living with three other dogs and definitely doesn't mind sharing his toys with other dogs and humans. In fact, Riggs would love to have at least one other playful dog friend in his home to wrestle, cuddly, and play tug with. Rigby is the perfect housemate too. He is non-destructive, and happy to chill in a crate, if you’d like him to. Rigby would do best in a home with kids 6+, and we’re not too sure what he’d think of cats.
Rigby went through a painful instance of IVDD, which is common for the Frenchie breed. It left him mostly incontinent and without use of his back legs. Rigby acts like nothing even happened, though! He loves his wheelchair, is happy to drag himself around, and can definitely give the other dogs a run for their money when it comes to play. He's not in pain, he just gets around a little different. Rigby's adoption fee will include his wheelchair.
