Chandler is the very best of everything you could hope and wish for in a dog from a shelter. When we first met him, the shelter thought he was much younger, given how playful he can be with other dogs. But Chandler is a mature gentleman who is honestly one of the most well-behaved boys we've met. He is quiet in his foster home, non-destructive, and has already aced house training. He's still a bit spooked by stairs, but he's trying his very best! Chandler is also super social and loves to gently set his big ol' chin on your lap to get some pets. He's just a really nice, really good dude who seems to love everyone! Chandler is not currently living with kids in his foster home, but we think he'd do great with kids 6+ given how calm and gentle he is. And he has great leash manners, so he'd be happy in an apartment setting, but we'd like to avoid stairs for him.
Chandler is heartworm positive, and Austin Bulldog Rescue will be sponsoring his treatment. He can go to his forever home before treatment begins, but adopters should be in the Austin, San Antonio, or Houston areas so that he can receive treatment with one of our vets.
