Maisel was picked up at a shelter down south with the most severe case of heartworm our vets have ever seen. Because her health has deteriorated so severely, she would not survive the lifesaving heartworm treatment she requires. ABR is keeping her as comfortable as possible during the time she has left and is going to give her the very best life we can. Despite all she's been through Maisel is proving to be one of the most trusting, forgiving, and gentle girls we've ever met -- adoring every human and dog she meets instantly.
