Yoshi

Yoshi is an almost 2 year old, Olde English Bulldogge. He has severe pulmonic stenosis and has a lifespan of 3-5 years. He’s very loving, but when he’s overly excited he can get pretty rough. He loves stuffed animals and will take them out of a toy box to play with them. He can play very rough with other dogs, but with others he can be very submissive. When you (human) do any kind of play with him, he tends to get too excited and jumps on you to possibly bite you, but it could be he just plays rough. He likes kids, but we do not recommend any kids under the age of 15/16 because of how rough he can be. He has never actually bitten anyone although there have been a couple of close calls when triggered. He needs a calm home. He’s crate trained, however when he’s in the crate, if a doorbell rings or someone knocks, he becomes aggressive. He will also try to go after a dog if they pass near his crate. Once outside of the crate though, he’s fine. He doesn’t really need to be in a crate, but because we have a multiple dog home and his behavior, we crate him. He is fully potty trained and really wouldn’t need a crate if he was the only dog or in a home with one other dog. He’s never chewed furniture or anything like that. He loves toys. He knows sit, down, shake/paw, wait, and rollover. He loves to go for walks and has energy for days. You would not think he had a heart condition with how he is.
