Saving lives is a team effort, folks. 👏👏 Meet Maggie! She was found by a friend at St. Francis Pet Hospital in Houston underweight and hungry, but still slobbery and full of smiles. She spent time in foster with our pal Jazmine from @camp_bow_wow_katy. . Overnight on September 14, Maggie had a puppy! On September 15, she had a second. Maggie did well her first night as a mom, but it became apparent that Maggie and her babies needed to be in a home environment with a foster who could give constant care to her and her newborn puppies. . Our pals at Almost Home Pet Rescue got her rescuers in contact with us at ABR and we took it from there to make sure that Maggie and her babies get the life they deserve! If you're keeping track, that's 3 lives saved by 5 animal organizations and more than a dozen animal lovers who worked TOGETHER because we all live and breathe for this... For Maggie, her puppies, and for the thousands of animals out there who are just like them. We lifted each other up to make it happen. We are BEYOND thankful to be part of a community that thinks as we do: every animal deserves hope.
