Meet Melvin! One of our newest gentle and loving senior additions to ABR.
If you can believe it, this little guy was still being monetized by the greeders who had him, AND they tried to offload him with the note that HE COULD STILL BE USED FOR BREEDING.
Sigh. Despite all he must have gone through in his life, Melvin is somehow still a lovely boy, becoming more confident and outgoing every day in his foster home.
With thoughtful and compassionate handling Melvin has grown more happy and relaxed. He loves his foster siblings and is becoming more playful by the day. AND< great news, he respects the kitties in his foster home and is gentle with his human siblings as well.
Melvin is learning quickly how to inside dog, and we are sure he will make some lucky family and epic companion for years to come!
