Jerry is an amazing boy! He definitely connects with his human and wants to be with them always. I love how he hops up in bed, head on my shoulder and immediately starts snoring! He loves car rides, especially if he can sit shotgun. He enjoys sitting on the back porch watching the world go by. He doesn't bark at people or cars going by. (My collies do!). I think his best home would be with someone who just wants a best friend that will love going places with him. He is friendly to everyone! I took him to a Celtic festival a few weeks ago and he was a hit! No barking. Just wanted to meet everyone and everyone wanted to meet him! He welcomed pets, hugs and gave kisses. He is housetrained and crate trained. He gives you a pouty face when he has to go in the kennel. I saw Jerry hanging around my neighborhood. He wouldn't come to me at first, but eventually warmed up after he gained trust. He continued to roam the neighborhood and I tried very hard to find him a home. I refused to take him to a shelter. He was too sweet! So, I finally decided I needed to get him neutered and vaccines and HW preventative. Luckily, he did not have heartworms! After vaccines, he was welcome into my home and has been wonderful! It's just the rough play that is an issue as it scares my collies. Plus, 5 dogs are just too many. This boy is this most amazing dog! He has taught me a lot about the breed!
