Frank

Hi! My Name Is Frank

I gave a long description of Frank in the behavior section not realizing this section would come next. I would add that he is very loving to his person, tolerates other people well but doesn’t seek out much attention from them, my son was his person at their house and I have become his person at my husband and my house so can be male or female. He doesn’t not like children, but he also doesn’t pay much attention to them and I do not trust hm with my 3, 5 and infant granddaughters. He barks a lot when someone comes to the door or passes by our back fence, but if we just calmly say, “it’s ok, Frank” a few times he stops right away. If someone comes in the house it takes a long time to get him to stop barking at them and we usually have to put him in the laundry room. Frank can be trusted to be left out and about in the house with no one home. He will make a great companion for the right person! A single person who doesn’t have much company, likes to take short walks and cuddle on the couch would be perfect! The only issue with having another dog in the home is the marking when he thinks he needs to claim a blanket. He has always been in a home with another dog, but doesn’t seek out their company.
